libprs-500 0.4.49 quits with "unsupported locale setting" error on OS/X 10.5.2

Description

Just downloaded libprs-500 0.4.49 for OS/X. System is an iMac running 10.5.2. On running the GUI app, it quits immediately with an error: "unsupported locale setting".

Console messages:

Note: according to bash, OS/X is setting $LANG to en_GB.UTF-8

This bbug has been fixed, the fix will be in the next release, unfortunately, I'm travelling, so you'll have to wait a couple of weeks for the fix.
