Nook EPUB PNG Blank Pages

Description

Today I converted several CBZ files into EPUB for my new Nook and noticed that if I select png as the output format instead of jpg every page other than the cover shows up as blank. Select JPG as the output format seems to work but the resulting image quality is noticeably worse than PNG.

Are the pages blank when viewing on the Nook, in the calibre ebook viewer or both?

if I select nook as the output profile, the pages are blank only on the nook. I can see it just fine using calibre ebook viewer. If I select Sony PRS as the output profile, the converted EPUB file works just fine on both the nook and calibre.

This would indicate the wrong size is used for the height in the Nook profile.

@hlcc: You are saying that with the SONY profile and PNG output, the file works on the Nook, but if you change the profile to Nook then it doesn't?
