Replying to kovidgoyal:

Try this build http://calibre-ebook.com/downloads/betas/calibre-0.6.32.dmg

I had same problem, tried this build, but Calibre opens, populates screen, and crashes after about 10 seconds. )S 10.6.2 1.83 Intel Core Duo Macbook

Hmm strange, I can't replicate this crash at all, but then I dont have a system capable of running 10.6.2

A temporary workaround would to to locate an delete the file pictureflow.so in the calibre.app bundle. It should be in Contents/Frameworks?/plugins (I think)

  • Priority changed from blocker to minor

reducing priority since it only seems to affect a few machines.

Okay, workaround by deleting pictureflow.so does enable to start calibre again and download works as well. Thanks for the quick help ;-) Calibre is an amazing helpful tool!
