italic error converting from lit to lrf

I found when converting from lit to lrf, extra space is added around the italicized text. For example:

"Help!"

Where the word Help is italicized but the exclamation mark is not italicized, in the converted text there is too much space between the "p" and the "!"

It almost looks like "Help !" but it's a little bit less than a full space.

The extra space occurs both in front of and after the italicized text.

This comes froma limitation of the LRF viewer on the SONY. It doesn't support italics, instead it titls the normal font to simulate italics. This has the effect of adding an extra space at the end of italicised text. Try converting to EPUB instead.
